The DFTD plant developed by Innova Soil Technology Ltd is an innovative, energy efficient and highly effective approach to soil remediation based on technology widely used in the USA and Europe for the last 20 years.

The key features of the Innova DFTD plant are:

  • Up to 30 tph continuous processing rate
  • Worlds best practise emission control systems
  • Energy efficient process through recuperative heat exchange
  • Relocatable plant with semi trailer sized loads
  • Extremely high contaminant removal efficiency
  • Beneficial reuse of treated soil as clean fill material
  • Ability to treat contaminants such as PCBs, PAHs, pesticides, and TPHs to non-detectable concentrations
  • Can treat a wide range of soil types such as clay, sand, soil, sludge and sediments

A smaller 3-5 tph Direct Heated Thermal Desorption plant, processing soil continuously for a weekly throughput of up to 840T is used for small to mid sized projects unsuitable for the larger Innova DFTD plant.

Key features of the 3-5 tph Mobile DTD Plant:

  • Mobile Direct heated Thermal Desorption plant
  • 3 to 5 tonnes per hour continuous processing rate
  • Extremely high contaminant removal efficiency
  • Worlds best practise emissions control system
  • Proven technology used in the USA and Europe for the last 20 years
  • Easily transported, small footprint
  • Beneficial reuse of soil as clean fill material

Batch Thermal Desorption (BTD) is an innovative remediation technology featuring mobile infrared-heated modules. The BTD system consists of up to 6 x 15 Tonne electrically heated modules or 'hot boxes', each processing soil at approximately
24 - 48 hours per batch while utilising worlds best practise emission control measures.

Key features of the BTD Hot Box:

  • Infrared Heated Thermal Desorption
  • Up to 500°C treatment temperature
  • >99.9% contaminant removal efficiency
  • 15-90T batch size or up to 300T per week
  • Mobile plant, rapid deployment
  • Beneficial reuse of soil as clean fill material
