Harvey Norman Remediation Project 2008

INNOVA SOIL TECHNOLOGY has been appointed by Harvey Norman as the head contractor for remediation of a site at Springvale, Victoria. This remediation work presents a first for thermal desorption and PCB remediation in Victoria.

Newcastle Harbour Sediment Trial 2006

Contaminated sediment was dredged from the south arm of the Newcastle Hunter River, whilst treatment operations were performed at INNOVA's DFTD facility located on the adjacent former Newcastle steelworks closure area.

Koppers Stockpile Project 6000T Treatment 2006

The purpose of the project was to remediate the contaminated soil to allow its reuse as clean fill within the Koppers Facility. Approvals were granted by the NSW Government to undertake the project based on results obtained during laboratory studies and treatment trials.

Koppers Stockpile 150T Trial 2005

The INNOVA DFTD process successfully processed and treated the Kopper's soil despite the very high hydrocarbon levels in the feed soil of 1.35 to 3.1 wt. Two measures taken ensured the plant could easily handle the very high energy value, associated with the high hydrocarbon level, of the soils.

Koppers Stockpile EIS and EPA Licence 2005

The Koppers remediation project required various approvals to be sought and detailed consultation undertaken. An Environmental Impact Statement was prepared to accompany a Development Application submitted under the requirements of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

AGL Clyde St Trial 2005

INNOVA SOIL TECHNOLOGY was commissioned by the Australian Gas Light company (AGL) to undertake a 500 T treatment trial of PAH contaminated soils at their Clyde St Hamilton site.

Coal Tar Soil 2003

INNOVA SOIL TECHNOLOGY was engaged by BHP Billiton Limited to treat a small amount of coal tar contaminated fill, tar coated concrete and tar soaked iron ore fines from previous coke making operations.

EPA Demonstration Trial 2002

The objective of the EPA demonstration trial was to establish INNOVA's plant and test performance on coal tar contaminated soils. Work involved plant assembly, electrical fit-out, piping installation and an exhaustive process commissioning program.
